Programmable Logic Controller - PLC

Project based Training Program:

A PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER (PLC) is an industrial computer control system that continuously monitors the state of input devices and makes decisions based upon a custom program to control the state of output devices. Almost any production line, machine function, or process can be greatly enhanced using this type of control system.

The biggest benefit in using a PLC is the ability to change and replicate the operation or process while collecting and communicating vital information. The PLC are modular. So one can mix and match the types of Input and Output devices to best suit your application.

Modern PLCs can be programmed in a variety of ways, from the relay-derived ladder logic to programming languages such as specially adapted dialects of BASIC and C. Another method is state logic, a very high-level programming language designed to program PLCs based on state transition diagrams.

The PLCs used during the training at EmbLogic are Allen Bradley, Delta, Fatek, Mitsubishi and Seimens
