encountered below mentioned error while kernel-2.6.38.8 compilation

i am working on 3bit compression and decompression.
I had uderstanding the the basic linux ststem and instalation of fedora,debian,kernel gcc installation etc. compilation. And all the server configured as mentioned in project 1
why we need to configure syslinux in network booting…
in case of append in character driver where we have to allocate new memory with continuation to the old memory (in lseek or write function)

i have two kernels on my desktop..
i boot my system using one kernel and installed drivers of wireless usb stick(usb wifi-dongule) on that kernel using ndiswrapper..
its working properly..
but when i boot the system using second kernel its not working..
do we have to install the drivers on every kernel separately..??
