i have done write and read operation for single quantum
i have completed the write operation for single quantum and now i m working on multipal quantum.
i have successfully completed scull trim, scull follow, and write complete using single quantum and now working on multiple quantum
there is kernel crash at the time of kmalloc and give error of unable to hander pegging request
scull trim is complete……………….in character driver ->sull_write has been done for one quantum……in character driver ->application leval of scull program is also working fine
i have completed scull using c…and my scull write function also working using single quantum write but after 5 min my system is hang…whats the problem
yesterday i was completed the scull and trimming and today i am working on the write operation in the character driver.

i have completed multiple data compression and Decompression using 4 bit
I have completed registration,initilazation and open,release in the character driver and now i am work out on the scull and decompression of a string.
Char device driver ->done compression -> left with last part of comparing and uncompressed data SCULL -> done for the scull size of 16 and limited data flow

local_dev=container_of(inode->i_cdev, struct scull_dev,cdev1); in above function, i don’t know how container_of() give the minor number and also how assign global device to local device.
