The kernel inside these OS is configured according to X86 architecture so it can suitably run on Intel PCs which are base on x86 processors . on the Other hand Embedded Linux is the OS which we Prepare for a specific Hardware . Bootloaders , kernel, root filesystem , GUI all these are configured according to the architecture . Source Code will be same for OS but configuration for Embedded Linux is changed according to the Hardware .
