TTL is called Time To Live.. but exactly it is not time.. it is the number of count.
TTL means if an IP is being searched.. It will be searched on maximum how many routes. As it visits one router to search that IP, TTL decreases by 1. and then on another search again decreases by one. I hope u got it now.
